Women in Europe for a Common Future (WECF) (Germany)


Sabine Bock, Director of the German office of WECF - Women in Europe for a Common Future and Energy and Climate Change Coordinator of the WECF network with over 100 women’s and environment organisations in 40 countries. The German office works in close cooperation with the WECF offices in the Netherlands and France, which serve as secretariat for the network activities. WECF projects on sustainable energy and climate change increase access to safe and sustainable energy (energy efficiency and renewables), demonstrating affordable and sustainable solutions for the household and community level. WECF shares lessons learned from the ground at the international level, e.g. at the UNFCCC from a gender and human rights perspective. Sabine Bock has an Engineering Degree in Landscape Architecture, Munich, Germany (focus on sustainable development) and a broad experience in the field of sustainable development and climate protection.
