Gender CC — Women for Climate Justice (USA)


Dr. Trish Glazebrook of Gender CC is Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion Studies at the University of North Texas, Adjunct Professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and Research Fellow at Osun State University in Nigeria. She is a member of the Board of Governors of the Center for Research in Environment and Sustainable Development in Lagos, Nigeria, and of the Editorial Boards of Meeting Rivers in Bangalore, India and New Heidegger Research at Rowman & Littlefield. She received her PhD from the University of Toronto and publishes in climate justice studies, ecofeminism, ecophenomenology, development studies, ancient philosophy, philosophy of science and technology, and Heidegger studies. Her current research with women subsistence farmers in developing nations focuses on climate change vulnerabilities and impacts, resilience and coping strategies, and gender mainstreaming in climate policy.
