Nathalie serves as the Coordinator of GGCA, the Global Gender and Climate Alliance. Nathalie started working on international climate policy over 15 years ago. She worked for the UNFCCC on CDM / JI issues, coordinated USCAN for several years, and helped launch an initiative to bring the first indigenous peoples delegation to the UNFCCC negotiations. Nathalie focused much of her climate work on public participation and transparency issues, which led to her position with WRI serving as Senior Associate with The Access Initiative (TAI). Nathalie conducted research and led trainings on environmental governance, working in Africa and South Asia, and facilitated trainings worldwide. She is an attorney, earned her D.E.S.S. in environmental law from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France, and her J.D. from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She now lives in Colorado with her husband and 2 children.
