Our group traveled to Russellville, Arkansas on October 15, 2016, to protest the proposed Diamond pipeline which is to cross our state from Cushing, Oklahoma to Memphis, Tennessee. There was about 30 or 40 people in total and we got some good responses from people passing by. We are trying very hard to stop the construction of this pipeline because we know they break at some time in their usage, but most importantly we need to get away from our dependence on fossil fuels. If we don't all get serious about doing that NOW, when will it ever happen? We are a group of women who are working to end the "power-over, patriarchial" society that has been in control for way too long. We want to empower women to find their voices and unite to bring about a more just and loving community worldwide.
