Frontline Women Leaders to Speak Out at Gender Day Press Conference
PARIS, France (December 8, 2015) – This afternoon, frontline and indigenous leaders will convene for a women’s press conference organized by the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network in conjunction with UNFCCC COP21 climate negotiations Gender Day. Women leaders will speak out against social and environmental injustice, present case studies of climate impact from their communities and put forth solutions for climate justice and a livable future.
