Description:

50 Ways to Tame Our Wicked Climate Crisis

I am an artist this summer did a project for a exhibition in California. My theme was "50 Ways to Tame Our Wicked Climate Crisis." I am posting the solutions and the artwork on my blog, I did a lot of research and came away hopeful as so many people are working on solutions.  http://www.tenfingers.com/blog/

Reasons for working in this topic, project or business:

As an artist I have always felt a deep connection to the natural world and I am compelled to speak through my artwork.

Root causes of the problems in this field and main barriers:

I see it as a cultural problem. We have created a system that relies on endless natural resources and we don't have endless natural resources available to us.

What is needed to overcome barriers to implement solutions:

A will to change and adapt.

Specific needs and/or support requests:

If there are places to exhibit the work it would be great to know about them.

Suggested best local solution for this topic:

I came up with fifty solutions with quite a bit of research involved and am posting it on my blog http://www.tenfingers.com/blog/

I posted a slide presentation of the piece on youTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyh6CXOcQ6g

Networking opportunities:

I can exhibit the artwork and give an artist talk about it. The pieces are individually scanned and if anyone wants to use any in their work I am open to that with a credit and a link to my website.
