Free Trade policies and upcoming agreements threaten the generations survival by allowing corporations to act at will without moral conciousness. I have been holding a sign at this location since May 2014 when I realized the TPP and new lot of deals connected all the dots set to slaughter our sons and daughters. A group of us have been here nearly every Tuesday for an entire year. I am not in the photos here taken on November 1, 2016. I am the camera-phone person!!!! The last photo was taken on Feb 3, 2016 and I am in yellow.

#TPPTuesday The TPP and current trade deals CETA, TTIP, TISA (even NAFTA) are not in the people's or planet's interests only for corporate greed. Since November 2015 nearly every Tuesday (2016 summer we went to first Tuesdays) this group in NWNJ has educationally acted in Newton, NJ. Our protest action accurs across from Congressman Scott Garrett's office and at Justice Square - The Newton Green. We ask of our elected officials to Vote NO on any upcoming TPP Trade bills and publicly share this. We leaflet, and I have 'skits' more like quick speeches that utilize the crosswalks in the busy traffic. Our protest art has grown over the year and we cover an entire city block now. On February 2 through 4th - a 50 hour vigil was also completed here by myself with the help of other 'Friendly Neighbors'. This produced our main bounty. A NJ bill AR79 Trade Reform bill was introduced on February 4th. Thus far our Congressman has met with me, but has NOT come out publically against the TPP, although previous actions did secure his NO vote on Fast Track, but that was and is not enough. We continue onward.
