Business and Professional Women (BPW) Boulder Chapter voted last year that all of our future events will be Zero Waste. We are working hard with other organizations in Boulder on all kinds of environmental issues but Eco-cycle says that Zero Waste is the easiest and quickest way to fight climate change. They also say that 42% of our greenhouse gases come from how products are made, transported and disposed of! That's almost half the problem! So reduce and reuse soon important! Other organizations in Boulder are doing the same! Others in the photo left to right: Matt Nicodemus does a lot on social justice but also is the founder of Solidarity Singers of Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center! Zuza Bohley withhttp://www.unaboulder.org among other things! Laurie Dameron chair of Environmental and Sustainability Committee Irene Vilar founder of http://www.americaslatinoecofestival.org two other volunteers for #ALEF2016 Suzi Netzeband artist Veronica Oswald-Hrutkay also with UNA and http://www.zontafoothills.org Bonnie Sundance activist and Mother Earth herself living off the grid!

I also volunteer as BPW Boulder at Unity Church of Boulder and post an environmental tip of the month! Yes! BILLIONS of non-recyclable coffee cups go to the landfill EVERYDAY!!! Third photo - I was so honored to present "What Can I Do?" Spaceship Earth at the 2016 Latino Festival in Denver, Colorado!
