EarthSpark and Enèji Pwòp (which means "Clean Energy" in Haitian Creole) train clean energy entrepreneurs to sell our line of solar lights and efficient cookstoves, creating small businesses that provide financial, social, and health benefits to their communities through clean energy products. Pictured here are some of our certified female entrepreneurs (middle) after a full day of training in Port-au-Prince led by our market development agent (far right). As a result of this training, they and their peers will help to break the cycle of energy poverty that keeps Haitian families dependent on dirty fuels like kerosene and charcoal for light and cooking. With the switch to clean energy, we are working to improve and protect Haiti's climate and environment for the future.
