City/Country: United States

Join the women of Idle No More SF Bay at the gates of the Chevron Refinery in Richmond, California. We will gather for a morning of prayer, song, teachings and perhaps a round dance. All women are welcome! Allies too! Idle No More is an indigenous revolution started by three First Nations women and one woman of "settler" descent that began in the winter of 2012 in Canada. It is a movement to prevent further damage to and to restore Mother Earth, as well as to prevent further damage to indigenous communities. It has become a global movement primarily led by women.
