One of the most important outputs of The role of rural women in addressing the climate change issue in the Palestinian territories project which will cover the role of the rural women and what they learned from those workshops and how they translate what they learn to the ground in their life. Also, this video will show our strategies and what we hope to do in this field to increase the trend of the society toward the sustainable and safe environment away from the climate change impacts. The role of rural women in addressing the climate change issue in the Palestinian territories project which funded by the Global Greengrants Fund GGf. Implementation and partnership By Natuf Organization for Environment & Community Development and Arab Youth Climate Movement - Palestine Team The purpose of this project is: to empower rural women in redressing issues of environment rights, explore best mitigation and adaptation on the ground solutions, and to confront the climate change. Workshop Objectives: 1. To bring awareness to rural women about the seriousness of the environment and climate issues. 2. To mobilize Palestinian rural women representatives in order to address the climate change and the environment degradation. 3. To have representatives from the rural women to share their stories on the three key focus areas of; Environment degradation, Erosion, drought and desertification, the decline of the economy and the emigration. 4. To identify future strategies to confront the environment and climate issues in the rural regions in Palestinian territories. 5. Enable rural women to organize around climate mitigation or adaptation related issues like tree planting, water conservation issues, climate policy agenda. 6. Begin a communications and media program in conjunction with AYCM to share stories of women and climate change in the region.
