In the United States on October 14th, there will be a people's climate movement national day of action targeting climate deniers. It is true that women are impacted by climate change. However, women are also at the forefront of developing strategies and putting forth solutions that deal directly with the climate crisis. Women in particular will be calling out government collusion and inaction around climate. As world leaders continue to shift responsibility and blame around, women continue to face the brunt of the impacts of environmental racism, climate change, and policies that do not protect us. The October 14th National Day of Action Women is part of our Road to Paris and Beyond organizing. Women around the world are planning to converge in Paris in December when the UNFCCC meets again. After 20 years of failed discussions, women understand that change comes from the bottom up. We hope you all join us!
